Court Vision, owned by IEAH Stables and others and trained by Richard Dutrow Jr., is entered to make his next start in the Grade 1, $300,000 Gulfstream Park Turf Handicap at the Florida track on Saturday, February 6. Approximate post time is 5:18 p.m. for the day's ninth race.
Court Vision, a multiple Grade 1 winner, will be making his first start since a fourth-place finish in the Breeders' Cup Mile last-November at Santa Anita. In last year's Gulfstream Park Turf Handicap, he finished third, beaten three-quarters of a length, to IEAH's Kip Deville.
The Gulfstream Park Turf Handicap will be run at 1 1/8 miles on the turf course and attracted a field of six, ages 4 and up. Robby Albarado has the mount on Court Vision from post position 3.
IEAH Stables' and others'
Adagio, trained by Dutrow Jr., is also entered. He drew the outside post position and will be ridden by Cornelio Velasquez.
Person of Interest, recently acquired by IEAH Stables and trained by Richard Dutrow Jr., is entered to make his next start in a $45,000 maiden purse at Gulfstream Park on Saturday, February 6. Approximate post time is 3:16 p.m. for the day's fifth race. Person of Interest is the only horse on the also-eligible list, and can only start in the event of a scratch.
Robby Albarado has the mount on Person of Interest from the outside post position in a field of 14 that also includes one horse entered for main track only.
The race for 3-year-olds will be run at one mile on the turf course.
In his most recent start on January 20, Person of Interest finished second, beaten 3 ½ lengths, in a $35,000 maiden purse at Gulfstream Park. He is a colt by Tapit – Oriole Way, by Cahill Road.
